Delighted to visit Laois Leisure Portarlington this evening to celebrate them achieving the title of Overall Leisure Club of the Year 2023. Fantastic to hear about all the great activities provided by the leisure centre and all the hard work done by staff and management.
It was also great to see the unveiling of the commemorative photographs of the original swimming pool founding committee. Thanks to Sean Quirke, Laois Leisure General Manager, Pat Burbage, member of the original swimming pool founding committee and Michael Scully who sourced and framed the historic photos.
