Public Transport Fares for Kildare South highlighted by Cathal Berry TD
There was a very positive meeting in Newbridge last night chaired by Jennifer Caffrey and the Newbridge Community Development Group. Top of the agenda was the cost and availability of public transport for Kildare commuters.
Today, I asked the Taoiseach in the Dáil about the National Transport Authority’s new nationwide fares for buses and trains which are due to be published at the end of June and implemented by the end of the year. I will continue to advocate for the lowest possible new fares for Kildare South commuters.
