Update on Liffey Lodge, Newbridge
I’m delighted to welcome the news that Kildare County Council (KCC) has purchased the Liffey Lodge building in Newbridge, showing significant commitment to community development in the town.
The former Patrician Monastery site is in a great central location in the town and presents a huge opportunity for KCC to develop the site and create a community-focused environment for everyone.
Newbridge is the biggest town in Co. Kildare and is certainly in need of increased and improved public amenities, so I’m delighted to see this positive development. I will continue to engage and work with local groups and Kildare County Council throughout this exciting process for Newbridge.
