Restart Grant Plus details for Kildare South
The Restart Grant Plus is open for applications today. This is a new grant of between €4K and €25k to help businesses reopen.
✅ The Restart Grant Plus is a key part of the government’s July Stimulus package, a €7.4bn package of measures designed to stimulate a jobs-led recovery and build economic confidence while continuing to manage the impact of Covid-19.
✅ The scheme is open to those with less than 250 employees that have reopened or planned to reopen and have seen a 25% reduction in turnover between April and June.
✅ This will allow pubs and events industries which remain closed to apply.
✅ Increased eligibility – non-rateable B&Bs, sports clubs with commercial activities and trading charity shops are now eligible
✅ The grants can be used to re-hire staff, adapt businesses or build up business and will be administered through local authorities.
