Pictured are Sgt Mick Brogan, Dr Cathal Berry, TD (a former Army officer) and retired RSM John Murray volunteering at the Punchestown Vaccination and Testing Centre this week. Over 1,650 people were due to be vaccinated at the centre on Monday.
Deputy Berry remarked that “it’s fantastic to be involved in the vaccination rollout here in Punchestown. Approximately 1,650 people are due to be vaccinated here today again. Great to see such a positive atmosphere, everyone is delighted and relieved to be getting the vaccine. Every dose administered is a step closer to normality!”
The Kildare TD has been involved in the vaccination rollout since January working in various nursing homes and residential care facilities, the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare.
