Good to see further progress in the implementation of the Portarlington Regeneration Strategy improving the look of our town and making it a great place to live, work and visit.
We would encourage all businesses and residents along the assigned route to avail of this funding opportunity before the application deadline 23rd of this month, especially in light of present road and footpath works!

In accordance with the “Portarlington Regeneration Strategy 2030” Laois County Council is seeking to improve the streetscape and public realm of Portarlington Town. The Business Support Unit are now accepting applications for the Portarlington Façade Enhancement Scheme in the following areas – Main Street, Market Square and French Church Street. The scheme is available to both commercial and residential premises and interested businesses/residents can apply by downloading the application form from Laois County Councils website or by contacting Linda Meredith at 086 7839729 or email: lmeredith@laoiscoco.ie.
