I very much welcome new State supports for the refurbishment of unoccupied social houses. This would be an ideal opportunity to bring run down unoccupied Department of Defence housing in the Curragh Camp back on stream for service personnel and their families.
Funding Allocations –
Kildare County Council has been allocated funding of €1,673,500 for works to 97 housing units. Laois County Council has been allocated funding of €359,422 for works to 36 housing units.
