Built Heritage Investment Scheme – Funding for Kildare & Laois

I welcome the news that 11 projects in the constituency have been allocated funding under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme.
In addition to supporting owners and custodians of historic and protected structures to safeguard and maintain their properties, this funding will also provide a welcome boost to local construction and heritage trades by facilitating works.
The projects that will receive funding include:
🔹 St Paul’s French Church Portarlington, Co. Laois – €4,000
🔹 Thatch cottage, Walterstown, Nurney, Co. Kildare – €10,000
🔹 Kilkea School House, Kilkea, Co. Kildare – €2,500
🔹 Harristown House , Brannockstown, Co. Kildare – €3,500
🔹 St. John the Evangelist, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare – €3,000
🔹 Finlay’s Public house, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare – €6,000
🔹 Riverstown House, Kildangan, Co. Kildare – €9,000
🔹 Burtown House, Athy, Co. Kildare – €9,000
🔹 Thatch, Stickens , Co. Kildare – €8,000
🔹 Gothic Hall, Thomastown, Co. Kildare – €7,000
