Funding for Regional and Local Road Infrastructure for 2021

Kildare- Laois- Local News
Good news that funding has been announced today for Athy, Monasterevin, Portarlington, Moone & Ballymore Eustace to improve regional and local road infrastructure. This funding is vital in protecting and enhancing our road network.
In particular, I very much welcome the €2 million announced for the Athy Southern Distributor Road. This vital investment will remove traffic from the town centre and enable further badly needed jobs to locate in the area. Great news for Athy.
