Enterprise Ireland – COVID-19 Measures Introduced to Support Businesses

Funding supports have recently been made available for small and medium-sized enterprises through Enterprise Ireland in response to the impact of COVID-19.

Here are two of the available supports:

COVID-19 Online Retail Scheme – The purpose of this fund is to enable Irish-owned retailers to enhance their digital capability and to develop a more competitive online offer, that will enable an increase in their customer base and build a more resilient business in the domestic and global marketplace both online and offline. Applications for funding will be invited through a public Call for submission of projects.
Call Open Date: Wednesday 29th April 2020.
Call Close Date: Wednesday 27th May 2020 at 3pm.

Sustaining Enterprise Fund – a new fund to provide manufacturing and internationally traded services companies with capital to help stabilise and rebuild their businesses.
The purpose of the fund is to sustain companies who have been impacted by a 15% or greater reduction in actual or projected turnover or profit, and/or have significant increase in costs as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
