Delighted to see that almost โ‚ฌ4.3 million is to be allocated to the Athy Food, Drink and Skills Innovation Hub for development at the site of the former Athy Model School.
This will be an excellent addition to Athy and will be a major jobs boost for the county of Kildare and other surrounding areas.
This project will see this historic building converted into a State-of-the-Art Food, Drink and Skills Innovation Hub which will provide a dedicated space for enterprise development, job creation and training. A community Food Discovery Centre and Cafรฉ will also be developed on site. The project will support food entrepreneurs/starts ups and drive job creation in the agri-food sector in the region.
Really looking forward to seeing the positive progress in months to come!
